Four Signs that your Brand is Losing you Money

By Andrew on February 22, 2017

Bad Branding can lose you customers and leads. Here are for signs that your brand is losing you money:

  1. Your brand has spelling variations. Are there many different ways to spell your brand name? If so, potential customers will have a hard time finding your brand online. These lost customers translate to lost dollars.

  2. You don’t own the .com domain name. If you have a good brand name, but don’t own the corresponding .com domain name, then you are probably losing traffic to the .com URL.

  3. Your name is too long. Is your name too long? Most successful brands are not super long. The brand name ArtifactUprising is 16 characters. This is probably the longest you’d want your brand name to be.

  4. Your brand is not memorable. If your brand is not memorable, then you are losing money. Customers and clients often recommend products based on word of mouth and if new prospects can’t remember your brand name, then they will probably never utilize your service.
